Thai Property a true wonderland of luxury

Regular viewers will know by that Thailand is firmly established as Asia's top tourist destination but even so remember when considering buying anything fixed to the ground that you can’t move it later if you have made a mistake.

Lucky for you we pick the brightest spots in the firmament – and the island idyll of Koh Samui is the hottest property spot in Thailand, sought by the moderately comfortable (like Mr Albert Smedley of Wiltshire) to the super-rich (like David Beckham)

DSR Asset Management Ltd are offering apartments to buy, enjoy and rent in the exclusive Himmapan Koh Sumai Condo Hotel with prices starting at £184,000 per unit.

Himmapan have built this 5 star award winning condo/hotel project right on Banrak Beach, close to the airport and the famous Big Buddha temple.

It also houses conference facilities, shopping mall and cinema, wave pool complex and a medical & wellness spa.

For dreamers, lovers and maybe boaters there is a 600m lake on the site. There’s evening entertainment in various venues including but not limited to a Blues and Jazz bar & Nightclub. The restaurants come replete with celebrity chefs so bring ear plugs for the children.

David Redfern commented ‘Every inch of this project has been designed to create a timeless blend of ancient and modern – a true wonderland of luxury,’

Property Values Increasing as Hollywood moves to Thailand

American Gangster. Tomorrow Never Dies. Just two of the many blockbusters shot on location in Thailand in recent years.

Now Peter Wright in ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ tells of a brand new $650,000 media venture in Thailand property revealed this week.

“HONG KONG -- Los Angeles-based entertainment investment property developer Creative Kingdom Inc. is to build a film studio and residential complex near Chiang Mai in northern Thailand.”

Meanwhile Peter Lloyd writing in Pattaya Today last week noted

“….there was a very interesting article in a UK Sunday newspaper which listed Thailand as having the world’s third highest price rises in the first 3 months of this year recording a 2.7% increase”

Thailand is a magnet for high profile media personalities. David Beckham famously had a luxury villa on the island of Koh Samui completed in 2008, the same year the phenomenal world number one tennis player Justine Henin surprisingly and suddenly withdrew from the circuit.

This year Justine will be able to move into her newly built apartment in the exclusive Infinity Samui complex, again on Koh Samui, which by the way has been voted “the 11th best island on Earth”.

DSR Asset Management Ltd has a number of luxury apartments available in 2009 at Infinity Samui in Koh Samui, Thailand, starting from £386,000.

“Infinity Samui is a gated low-rise luxury development on the private and quiet north-western shore of Samui Island…. in the lush hillside of Bang Por, with the resident club on the beach,” said DSR CEO David Redfern.

“Our location on Samui Island is unrivalled. Uniquely, our beach is swim-able all year round and sandy, as compared to other parts of the island that are tidal-flat and rocky,” he continued.

Infinity Samui has been carefully crafted for lifestyle buyers as well as for investors who desire quality resort homes with attractive rental returns and capital gains. Apartments of one, two, three and four bedrooms are nestled in a peaceful landscape of palm trees and greenery. All have swimming pools and spectacular sea views.
